We are currently looking for a motivated and growth-oriented

Associate Investment Manager or Investment Manager LATAM, Agro & Food Sector

to strengthen our Incofin Colombia Agro/Food Sector investment team. Position is located in Bogota, Colombia.

Your tasks

You will be responsible for actively managing the part of Incofin’s Agro finance & Food portfolio in LATAM region through increased investments and diversification of loan facilities, countries and crops. You will be responsible for covering the entire investment cycle from deal sourcing, due diligence and transaction execution to portfolio monitoring. You will be leading end-to-end debt investment transactions (rollovers and new loans), including sourcing, term sheet negotiation, due diligences, credit proposal writing, investment committee presentation, support in loan agreement drafting and portfolio monitoring.

An important part of the role will also be to assist investees in timely financial, compliance and impact reporting and proactively identify risks and business opportunities in the LATAM region. You will be collaborating effectively with the local Incofin Colombia team and other Incofin regions and functions in regional offices and at the headquarters. You will also represent Incofin in different stakeholder meetings in order to support the positioning of the company’s brand. Final job title and job description will depend on the preferred candidate experience and qualifications.


Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic Investment Manager who has a solid and minimum 3 years proven experience in holding a similar role. We expect bachelor or master’s degree in economics, finance or business administration (or other relevant education). Previous working experience with Latin America’s developing markets and work experience from Agro and / Food sector in Colombia and / or LATAM region are mandatory in order to manage the role successfully.

The qualified candidate must possess strong financial and credit analysis skills, goodExcel skills and have a strong knowledge of accounting. Fluent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English are mandatory (we will arrange technical and language test to all final candidates). The role will require a strong affinity for impact and responsible finance, ability to work collaboratively with a global team, ability to manage work with tight deadlines and ability to adapt to evolving or rapidly changing environments. Position will require some traveling (max 20%)
