We are currently looking for a learning oriented and motivated
Investment Analyst, Financial Institutions
to strengthen our EECA (Eastern Europe and Central Asia) team. The position is permanent and located in Antwerpen.
You will be responsible for assisting the investment team in the end-to-end investment process including sourcing, term sheet negotiation, due diligence, credit proposal writing, analysis, closing and portfolio monitoring in Eastern European and Central Asian countries.
Specifically, you will be assisting investees in completing timely financial, compliance and impact reporting, perform effective monitoring on investees’ financial and covenant reporting, support the management of the portfolio including yearly financial and impact monitoring, risk review and country risk assessment updates.
You will be leading research including country and market research to support pipeline and strategy building, support the office management functions including finance and collaborate effectively with the team and Incofin functions in regional offices and at the headquarters.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and learning oriented team player with a masters or bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or business administration (or other relevant education). We would expect minimum 2 years of experience in managing a similar role successfully, Previous working experience in the EECA region or other professional exposure to the region would be highly appreciated.
The qualified candidate must possess good financial and credit analysis skills, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and have a good understanding of accounting. Fluent written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory, Russian language skills are preferred. The role will require a strong affinity for impact and responsible finance, ability to work collaboratively with a global team, ability to manage work with tight deadlines and ability to adapt to evolving or rapidly changing environments. Position will require occasional traveling in the region.
