You will be responsible for supporting the Debt and PE investment team in the end-to-end investment process including investment opportunities, sourcing, term sheet negotiation, due diligence, credit proposal writing, analysis, closing and portfolio monitoring in Eastern European and Central Asian countries. You will be also screening equity investment opportunities and assess viability and prepare monitoring reports for existing PE portfolio, write memos, and conduct financial analysis.
Specifically, you will be assisting investees in completing timely financial, compliance and impact reporting, perform effective monitoring on investees’ financial and covenant reporting, support the management of the portfolio including yearly financial and impact monitoring, risk review and country risk assessment updates.,
You will be responsible for research including country and market research to support pipeline and strategy building and preparing political, financial, and macroeconomic updates and monitoring country / government ratings and risk profiles. Investment Analyst will work 60% for the debt and 40% for the equity team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and learning oriented team player with a masters or bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or business administration (or other relevant education). We would expect minimum 2 years of experience in managing a similar role successfully. Previous working experience in the EECA region or other professional exposure to the region would be highly appreciated.
The qualified candidate must possess good financial and credit analysis skills, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and have a good understanding of accounting. We expect fluent written and oral communication skills in English. Russian language skills (or any other regional language) is a great asset. The role will require a strong affinity for impact and responsible finance, ability to work collaboratively with a global team, ability to manage work with tight deadlines and ability to adapt to evolving or rapidly changing environments. The position will require occasional traveling in the region.
