We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic
Investment Manager, Debt FI Asia
to strengthen our team in Asia. Position is permanent and located in Phnom Penh.
You will be responsible for actively managing the part of Incofin’s debt portfolio in Asia and the Asia pipeline in countries of responsibility, covering the entire investment cycle from deal sourcing, due diligence and transaction execution to portfolio monitoring. You will be leading end-to-end debt investment transactions (rollovers and new loans), including sourcing, term sheet negotiation, due diligences, credit proposal writing, investment committee presentation, support in loan agreement drafting and portfolio monitoring. An important part of the role will also be to assist investees in timely financial, compliance and impact reporting and proactively identify risks and business opportunities in the Asian region in rural financial inclusion. You will be collaborating effectively with the Cambodian team and other Incofin regions and functions in regional offices and at the headquarters. You will also represent Incofin in different stakeholder meetings in order to support the positioning of the company’s brand.
We are looking for an experienced Investment Manager who has a solid and minimum 3+ years proven experience in Financial Institutions lending. We expect master’s degree in economics, finance or business administration (or other relevant education) and would highly appreciate previous working experience in Asian (especially Cambodia and China) developing markets. Experience from the Agro/Food sector is an advantage but not a must.
The qualified candidate must possess strong financial and credit analysis skills, excellent Excel skills and have a strong knowledge of accounting. Fluent written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory, other languages from the region (especially Khmer and Chinese) are an advantage. The role will require a strong affinity for impact and responsible finance, ability to work collaboratively with a global team, ability to manage work with tight deadlines and ability to adapt to evolving or rapidly changing environments. Position will require up to 40% travel time in the region.
