Invitation: What's behind your cup of coffee?

Have you ever wondered where your daily cup of coffee comes from? And what impact a fair price can have on the lives of the people who grow it?

On 14 October, Incofin Microfinance Fund welcomes Julius Kalulu, founder of Just Know Your Coffee Cup (JKCC), to Brussels. During this exclusive evening, he will take us to Uganda and share how impact finance is making a difference for thousands of coffee farmers.

For many Ugandan coffee farmers, hard work still does not translate into a fair income. This inspired Julius to establish JKCC in 2017. His mission: to help coffee farmers earn a fairer return for their work and reduce their dependence on exploitative intermediaries.

Today, JKCC works with around 7,000 smallholder coffee farmers. The organisation provides training, access to finance and market access, enabling farmers to build sustainable businesses and strengthen their livelihoods. Since 2022, JKCC has been a proud partner of Incofin.

For investors in Incofin Microfinance Fund, this event offers a unique opportunity to see how their investment translates into tangible impact on the ground. For those not yet familiar with Incofin, it provides an inspiring introduction to the role impact investing (and your personal savings) can play in supporting entrepreneurs and strengthening agricultural communities.

We warmly invite you to join us for an evening of stories, coffee and impact. Discover the story behind your cup of coffee.
