Michiel Geers is Executive Director of the investment holding company Volksvermogen, which manages a diversified portfolio of public and private equity, including impact and venture capital funds. He brings prior experience from financial roles in the banking sector at Generale Bank and in industrial companies such as Alcatel-Bell and Atlas Copco. Michiel has been a long-standing board member of Incofin Microfinance Fund, serving as Chair since 2020. He holds a degree in commercial engineering from the University of Leuven and has completed further training in accounting, corporate law, private equity, tax, treasury management, and trade finance.
